ACCOUNTANT

Job Title: Accountant Job Station: Jinja City Department: Accounting and Finance Reports To: Director Finance & Station Manager Job summary We are seeking to hire an Accountant who will be responsible for managing transactions, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications/competences
- • Bachelor’s degree in commerce specialized in accounting/diploma in accounting or any related field with at least two years’ experience in the related field. CPA and ACCA will be an added advantage.
- • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- • Proficiency in accounting software especially QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Strong understanding of EFRIS.
- • Ability to file all tax returns. I.e. (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, WHT, INCOME TAX etc.)
- • 30 years and below
